Small Rant/vent: Oh noes, different opinions!!!

oh noes, what to do? what to do? I don't agree with you, Imma abnormal person!! My opinion is liek, totally different from you, whatever shall we do nows???


...ugh no seriously, you either keep a neutral tone, or you leave it, don't shun it...not everyone is going to agree with you if you support abortion, not everyone is going to agree with you if you do not support abortion, as well as any other topics. No, I'm not going to go apes because you decide you want to get a dog from a pet store and not adopt because you want to know your dog is a certain species, not some random mixed breed. I am not saying i agree, but still,it is your opinion on adopting and getting a store bought dog, you keep yours, i will keep mine, but I will not get upset over it.

Really, you can tell me why you think what I am doing is 'wrong', but i won't walk on over to your side just because you tell me....not even if you point out many many reason. Like said, maybe you just cannot afford to bring another child into this world, or you want to know what breed is the dog you are getting (honestly, there is a more 'certain' read-out of a specific species's health risk and care than an adopted dog which you can't tell what species is in it...and no, I still prefer an adopted dog, but still...)

I mean, do you guys even hear yourself sometimes? To you guys who get all iffy and upset because there is this one person...who 'ruins' your post on a certain viewpoint or topic?

Honestly, if someone has a different view and comes commenting, you can, acknowledge it, and if they come picking a fight, just leave your reply there and cease replying, no need to fight them, or go ranting, especially if what they says may also make sense too...its just, the opposite of your views, that's all, it doesn't make it that wrong...just leave it at that, don't shun or go all 'disgusted' at them...

And no, I am not saying there isn't such thing as a wrong view, so don't get me wrong on this...its just different viewpoints an opinions all in the end...you can't change people, you can't make them all fall in line so...don't, seriously, don't make an effort doing so.

We are people, you can have the controversial people, the nice people, the wolfaboos, the people who are all sciencey, and the environmentalist, the people who just...don't agree with anything no matter if you stick the proof in their face, and then you have the religious people and the quiet lurkers...everyone is different and will not see the same way as you...

I am not saying give up, but don't try and change them (well, unless if they wanna murder someone or hurt themselves...then obviously but...)

And you know what? i have met people who are animal-activists, they believe in the same goal and thing, and yet, the way they go about it is different...see? even in a same group you can have different ways of going about, and different opinions on a situations...it does not make them any more wrong than the person who believes abortion is alright or the person who says 'lets legalize drugs'...

Opinions are opinions, if they won't directly hurt you, then  its fine...unless if you are in a debate club or something then sure, argue, fight, but don't get mean or physical, and at least HAVE A POINT...I cannot, and will not stand trying to listen through repetitive, useless rambles...i mean, if you come in with a different opinion and wanna 'fight', please have a solid explanation and proof at least, geezus...just none of the 'i am right cause I said so' or 'I am right cause this old old ancient book says so' (no offense intended, just making a point)...so yeah, cannot put up a good argument or opinion? please, leave, do some research, then come back, or if you honestly don't know, ask, don't try and 'look' good, cause it makes you look dumb, or if you can't...just don't, don't comment...

There is a HUGE difference between having a different opinion, and looking like a rambler who has nothing to back them up, just saying...

if you have an argumentative nature, and can be incited to 'fight' and when you fight more, you say...not...smart things, then i am sorry, this is not the place for you. You can have your own opinion, and we can have ours, just please...show respect, don't try and dislodge us or prove us wrong just because you want people on your side of the opinion and will end up fighting.

Opinions are fine, different or same, its all fine, just saying, just be ready to know that no one may readily and happily join you, but again, it does not make them abnormal or wrong...do not drive people with different opinions away, and do not lynch mob them either. Keep it classy guys, and really, they are just words, if you can get upset over a bunch of words, or if you can easily be swayed over a bunch of words (just because someone is different opinion, does not really make you wrong either)...then...wow...really...just, wow...

and to end it up, I'd like to say, there are some certain people who don't mind arguing and fighting, but they may be friends, or just like seeing the different views, and its not a true 'argument' either, to some its just some bit of fun, but do not interfere, leave them be, don't turn a two-way into a three-way, or a...six-way. And yes, before you ask, i love to debate, but in the end, your view is your view, you can keep your view and I'll keep mine, I won't change you if you don't want to, all I ask is that you do not change me unless if i ask you to, other than that, yay, more different views and potential new knowledge! ^_^
