C.O.T.C-Unwanted: Chapter 1Chapter 1

It was early in the morning. Rosepaw leapt quickly out of the Apprentice's den, there was no way she was going to stay in and do training on such a beautiful morning. Carefully, she made her way down to the glades, a grassy spot located in the forest clearing in her Clan's territory, it was her favorite spot to go to. She sat down in the middle of the glades, wondering why does she still need to train if she is as good an apprentice as Dawnpool says.
Rosepaw sniffed the air; the scent of rabbit reached her nose. Looking excited, Rosepaw crouched down and crept forward. She saw the rabbit a few taillengths in front of her. She crep

It was an almost eerie silent night in the forest. The bushes rustled as a reddish-brown tabby with yellow eyes poked his head out slightly. "Flameflight! Not yet, get your head back down!" hissed a silver-gray fairly longhaired she-cat with light blue eyes. "Sorry Moonstrike, I was trying to see if there were any NightClan warriors" apologized Flamestrike. Moonstrike looked back to see if any other of the StormClan warriors had moved. They were all silent. Moonstrike looked around, it was weird, and they were at NightClan camp, but no sign of any NightClan warriors.

"I can't ever become a warrior, can't I?" Brokenflight hissed bitterly, not looking up as Roseglade walked in. Roseglade was taken aback by the fact that he already knew. "Well, you can help guard the clan…and…and, you can help with the elders" Roseglade replied quickly. Just then, she had realized she had said the wrong thing. "Help the elders? I'm young, I'm not old, I am not even an apprentice, and I'm a warrior! A warrior, you hear me?" Brokenflight spat angrily, and with the flick of his tail, he buried his face into his paws.
"Just let him be, he'll get over it soon, I'm sure we can find something for him to do" D

It was a sunny afternoon back at camp  "No! Not like that!" called a light yellow she-cat with white belly and paws and pale blue eyes. "Sorry Dawnpool!" apologized Rosepaw as she slumped down on the ground. "Bellyache? You want to go to Dappleflight to get some chervil?" Dawnpool asked with worry. "No, its not, I'm fine," replied Rosepaw as she got up on her feet. "I can continue training" Rosepaw assured Dawnpool. "Okay, lets continue. At this rate you will become a warrior in no time at all. And you can become one with your other littermates and friends too!" meowed Dawnpool.

"Hey! Get up!" mewed a tiny voice. Yawning, Roseglade turned to see a small orange-white kit with some gray patches. "Hello Orangekit" greeted Roseglade. "Do not forget us!" called some more voices. Turning around, there was a reddish-brown tabby kit with bright green eyes sitting coolly underneath a nearby tree. In another spot there was a dark gray kit curled up near a rock. "Hello Redkit and Wolfkit!" greeted Roseglade. "Shouldn't you be inside with your mother?' asked Roseglade. "Oh, no need, we are five and a half moons old and can watch ourselves just fine. Besides, our mother needs the rest," replied Redkit.

"I wonder if they are coming," thought Roseglade as she sat in the glades, her tail wrapped around her body as she sniffed the air. Soon she caught the scent of SunClan, NightClan and LeafClan around the glades. "Applepaw, Angelpaw, Silentpaw! How nice to see you" Roseglade meowed happily as the three cats appeared and sat down near her. "Its been moons since we last met, anything changed? I got my warrior name, I'm Roseglade now" asked Roseglade.

"No! Moonstrike! Stormstrike! No!" yowled a voice. Roseglade and Orangepaw had been practicing their fighting moves when they heard Honeypelt yowl. Quickly, they both dashed off to Honeypelt. They both pulled to a stop when they saw Wolfpaw, Redpaw, Bluestorm, Blackpaw and Pantherclaw stand stiff and in shock at something near the ground.
Walking closer, Roseglade froze in shock. In front of them, with their fur flowing back and forth and the water around them turning red with blood, were Moonstrike and Stormstrike. They were in the small shallow pool near their territory, and they were both dead.
"What happened?" Roseglade asked

                   Fangpaw padded along the lakeside, holding his head and tail high in
the air. He had just been told by Bramblestar, leader of Thunderclan, that he
had aced his assessment and he would be a warrior tomorrow. His silver tabby

had an accident as an apprentice, fox bit his hind leg off clean,making running harder for him, as he isn't very big. so he is staying in the elder's den. And due to his accident, he didn't want his name changed.
